Summer lettersDear Larsa,Summer letters by BelldandyCris
Things have been well here in Onora. I can barely say I have any news at all!
The weather is overwhelming hot. Although the windows are kept open day and night and the lake is not so far from our home we can scarcely breathe. I would not advise you to visit us in such a time.
I’m so sorry that I don’t have any news about Devin. As a matter of fact we parted ways months ago and I never heard from him since. Well, I must say that it was expected. When we said our goodbyes at Dragens Lake it was indeed conclusive to us.
All I remember is his silhouette against the foggy lake parting on that boat. Before he left he asked me to bless his sword one last time and I did so. And that was all, my dear Larsa.
Oh! I wish we could meet soon. Lile is anxious to hear from you. She’s been asking about you almost every day. But as I mentioned you should refrain from visiting us with this weather. It is better to wait autumn begins.
Please forgive me for writing to you so l
Hope and ChristieA seven days walk took a lot of my energy. Luckily I got to a nice city named S'ree where I could find a place to spend the night and relax in a nice long warm shower bath.Hope and Christie by BelldandyCris
My feet were aching and my body was sore. I found a little cozy pension and checked-in. I took some money with me and went to buy some supplies.
In the middle of town there was a small street market. The stands were very colorful. People looked a lot nicer than at Kanora. The lights had a golden color, enlightening the diversity of products being traded: fruits, compotes, beverages, sweets, breads, cakes... hum... my stomach was crying for food!
I didn't realize I was so hungry until I saw all that food in front of me.
I headed for the first stand that I could go to, filled with apples, oranges, melons, grapes and so much else.
The stand was unattended, but those apples were the reddest that I ever saw in my whole life. I had to eat one of those!
No one answered.
Oh boy, that apple was making my

"Yes, yes, I wanna catch the ball!"
"Pick it up, pick it up"
"Here, here! Ain't I fast? Did you see it? Did you see?"
"Woof, woof! Again! Come on, Jodie! Throw it as far as you can! I'm faster than the wind, I sure am! Woof!"
"I got it, I got it! Awwww...It's behind the trash can...Sorry, pal, go-tta do it!"
And Sparky makes a mess.
"Here, here, Jodie. See, see, see?"
"Again! Awww...you're tired already? Humm...that's okay. I'll stay here by your feet. Keep you warm. Keep you company. You'll feel better in no time!"
"And then, will you play again, will ya? will ya?"
WingsFunny. I never really noticed that I missed him that much until I saw him again.Wings by BelldandyCris
It was like waking up after a long, long, slumber.
He was surrounded by friends. I would never reach him so easily.
After years living abroad, he was back, all grown up. Still, his smile was kinda cheery, like always.
"Arie", I heard people calling his name, all excited about his return.
I took a good look at his face, from my safe distance, and then I just left.
Whatever it was I had to talk to him, it would have to wait. At least for now.
Back at my desk in the office. Smell of coffee. Phone ringing. Dress code obeyed.
Dulling away that immense amount of time.
Typing on the keyboard. The wind blowing outside seemed a lot more interesting than all that and I just abstracted my attention from my daily routine.
Funny. Again, a memory of him. The wind reminded me of him and his smile.
I wonder why people call him Arie. Am I the only one who actually calls him Arieth?
The phone must have been ringing for some
